The mood system of Myanmar

Abstract The main purpose of this article is to present the mood system Myanmar within framework Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). composed two simultaneous systems: type and force . former focuses on describing methods exchange including declarative, interrogative, imperative, while latter “language force” embedded in exchange. In study, certain structures for Mood realization particles used by speakers are presented each subtype systems Myanmar. findings show interpersonal metafunction language makes an important contribution further contrastive studies between their realizations those foreign languages.
